Very nice! I love how much work you seem to have put into this one, the details look marvellous. Marvellous I say... it's depicting a broken and dying planet... but how often do you see anyone making that? Last time I saw a dying or about to die planet was in the movie "Supernova". I think you've done a great job with this one. The only thing I would comment would be the fact that the "strike" seems to come from straight above... why not give it a lightly different angle?
Thx for the comment. This is actually a very old piece for me and I think it could use a lot of work but this is me now. I completely agree with you about the strike
amazing piece. I rather like the beam of light, and the planet surface, even though too far to see detail, still seems like everything is burnt to a crisp. Also the placing of the stars closely to the planet, with little to no stars farther away makes it seem like the planet itself is emmiting light. Great work on this!
I love the idea and the texture of the planets surface,Ultra detailed. All I could ask is that the actual beam of light hitting the planet would be a little more...well more tangible,it seems a little hazy. It kind of reminded me of a super large flashlight being pointed onto the planet...Nonetheless its still an awesome sight. Faved.
This seems to me like I should be feeling loss, but its more of a satisfied feeling that comes across to me. And there is still a beauty to end and you showed that superbly here.
